May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and here at Multiplying Good we want to spotlight some of our past recipients who are helping to create supportive and safe spaces for those struggling with their mental health.

As the U.S. Mint has officially added one of our beloved past recipients, Dr. Sally Ride, to the U.S. quarter dollar, we would like to celebrate her legacy. Dr. Ride was the first American woman in space and first acknowledged queer astronaut.

Multiplying Good realizes that expanding diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is a process and not a destination. This year, we sat down and asked three of our team members about their personal experiences around being a Black Leader within the nonprofit space.

Multiplying Good joins the nation in mourning the loss of Former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. As the world remembers her as a trailblazer, we remember her as a friend, Jefferson Award recipient, and member of the Multiplying Good community.

This Women’s History Month, we honor Billie Jean King, a tennis legend and fierce advocate for social justice and equality. Named one of the “100 Most Important Americans of the 20th Century” by Life Magazine in 1990, King was Appointed Global Mentor for Gender Equality by UNESCO in 2008.
