Much like how Rusty Boruff turned his life around after finding himself addicted, homeless, and facing incarceration, his nonprofit One Eighty helps people turn their lives around. Starting with just a $500 trailer for a couple of guys to live in, today One Eighty focuses on three pillars: “Prevent” impacts 1,300 families each month, “Reach” transformed two dozen properties into community centers for 1,000 people per month, and “Develop” houses 75 men and women each day. The unique 14-month program has helped 120 graduates truly change their lives through classes, resources, and employment in businesses run by One Eighty where residents learn life and job skills to close the employment gap for themselves and also fund One Eighty programs.
